The exhibition Points of View at the Culture House takes guests on a journey through the Icelandic visual world of past and present. Artifacts and works of art from the varied collections of six institutions provide a reflection of Iceland's visual art history and cultural heritage. Artists with different backgrounds and living conditions have expressed similar ideas at all times. There are seven points of view to be found in as many wings of the Culture House, connecting what you'll see, independent from the medium or time.

It was unknown to us but we visited because we were given free tickets at the national Museum. It is an old building which needs some navigating. Mainly exhibits literary artefacts.

This small museum has a variety of exhibits, each going into its particular topic in some depth. Collectively, they provided us a sense of Iceland's history and culture that we didn't gain at other museums or locations.

The Culture House was an unexpected visit. It is full of modern and ancient art, including books dating back to the 900s (oldest books I have ever seen). I would recommend visiting the Culture House. The staff there is very kind and very helpful.

They had old and new art exhibits along with books and other interesting pieces, some animated. They have a great cafe on site and is worth a stop for refreshments.

This museum focus on the culture of Iceland and does a good job. Excellent art and the exhibits are grouped to focus on specific elements of culture and how art expresses them. Thoughtful.

I only went to see the manuscripts. The admission was included with the National Museum of Iceland, and you can visit them on separate days. The curators were helpful and showed us where the manuscripts were, which were stunning. Can't comment on the rest of...More
