Miracle church

Beautiful church nice setting and wonderful mementos of past cures There is a walk opposite with statues depicting the life of Christ but it's a very steep and uneven surface

We took the local bus to Ta Pinu which stopped just outside the Basilica. There are renovation works going on outside the church. Two British priests were taking a service at the time of our visit which was lovely and unexpected. This is a lovely basilica; modern and light but still a fine example.

They were in the process of improving the entrance way whilst we were there which made negotiating the entrance path a little difficult in a wheelchair. However, it was worth it. Lovely basilica! Our Gozo Pride Tour guide was very informative. Loved it.

Popped in as part of our taxi tour of Gozo, so we had our own itinerary in comfort. Very beautiful inside, shame there was scaffolding around near the entrance but worth a visit as it is very beautiful and is free. Toilets opposite.

This is almost certainly the most famous church on Gozo. The architecture and scale of the building is magnificent, in addition to the vibrant windows and mosaics An indescribable aura of solace and serenity permeates within this glorious Basilica.

If you only visit one church on Gozo make it Ta' Pinu Basilica which is beautiful and bears testimony to the many healing miracles that have taken place here. Visit the chapel at the back of the basilica to pray for healing.

Popular place of worship to visit with locals and tourists whole in Gozo It is a simple and yet very peaceful building. Build on spacious grounds with lovely views. Buses take you to it but a car is better as you can leave in your own time rather than wait for the local buses

Wonderful Basilica built over a small shrine after a declared miracle. Visited by the Pope. Magnificent interior, but presently has major external renovation works ongoing.
