Whether you have faith or not, this is a truly inspiring building. The artwork alone is worth the visit, but look upwards and admire the murals and frescos. Not the largest of cathedrals, but certainly impressive. Well worth the visit.

This beautiful Cathedral exceeds expectations! Don;t miss the stunning mozaics on the floor and come early - they close by 4pm. Also, try to visit the museum next door.

Disappointed how commercial the approach here was. Have never been denied entry to a church in Malta until we came here. Normally I would happily pay a gratuity unasked- but the belligerent approach really pissed me off

We visited the museum first, there is a lot to see and well worth taking time over. Some fantastic silver, with some very old pieces. A good amount of pictures on the first floor. We then went across the square to the Cathedral. A very interesting building, in some ways looking more like a formal hall than a church, perhaps... More

The most imposing piece of architecture in Mdina. In the Roman baroque style it is surrounded by a number of medieval buildings.

Almost as beautiful and overthetop as the co-cathedral in Valletta, this is just a must-see. Decorations are fantastic, the floor made of Grandmasters tombstones is colourful and special

beatuiful church, mdina is a lovely place, just a shame they are letting so many vehicles in now, not the silent city any more.
