They check the tickets almost every stop (stopping at less scenic locations), so it takes forever on the route. Frustrating when time is a premium on vacation. They could compensate a little with the long stops if they had more information on the headset. It...More

I have done these tours in many countries and usually been happy but this was disapointing. I took the first bus from valletta center, there are no stops in most places first of all and you just need to know the stop. Got off on...More

Like most reviews have said AVOID. Not good value. Just read up a little on the island n use public buses. If I had read the reviews before thinking CityExplorer was a good value for money...i would have gone for 12 single tkt instead. Plus...More

We knew going in it wasn’t going to be good after reading all the reviews of other travelers. But the schedule timing is actually terrible. You cannot do both routes in 1 day unless you catch the first bus at 8:30am.....which is before you can...More

We were greeted on our way to the bus by Brian who was extremely friendly and helpful and joined us for a pre-trip coffee. The day was cool and breezy but all the staff were very helpful. The drivers had to contend with some bad...More

We bought tickets for the north route, they cost €20 each so we spent €40. We felt it was an absolute waste of money, to start off with the bus had no headphones and arrived 15 minutes late. The bus should’ve been taken out of...More

Went on a hop on/hop off sightseeing tour. There are two directions to go in - north and south of the Island and you can switch to either direction at Valletta bus terminal. I would definitely recommend doing this to get the best view and...More

For a start there are different reps charging different prices. The drivers are rude and don't stop at the designated stops the headphones / commentary doesn't work the seats are uncomfortable and the bus goes too fast! Spend your money doing something else!
