Overview
More
This state of the art building is spread over four floors and is not your typical Postal Museum. It offers a run through of Maltese history from the 15th century. The Museum also boasts of two temporary gallery spaces, a large audio-visual room and merchandising store. The temporary gallery spaces currently offer a collection of photographic prints by Richard Ellis, and what is arguably the finest collection of works by Emvin Cremona, regarded by many as one of the best Maltese artists of the 20th century.

It 8s worth a visit, we had difficulty finding it and when we enquired locally where it was no one in the immediate area heard of it. It is not well advertised or signed at the door. But it is worth finding

Excellent new museum, much larger than we expected with loads to see. Particularly enjoyed the informative short films and also the hand written letters, some dating back to the 1500’s. Will go again as we didn’t have time to see everything.

I don't collect the stamps of Malta but am interested in philately and postal history in general and I found the exhibits and videos very interesting. I'm sure children will enjoy the dressing-up box as well. The only criticism was showing the video about Malta...More

We visited the Malta Postal Museum by luck! As we went for a Davud Pisani exhibition. It's a shame we had to know about this place because we had to attend for an event. As locals we should have visited this place before and I...More

This Museum surprises, informs and intrigues. The collection highlights why and how the Malta postal service developed, daring from the 15th century, and how the stamps issued reflect Maltese history and Malta’s national sense, values and environment. I particularly enjoyed the selection of letters, including...More

Great place! Worth going and have a look at the architecture of past and present at this erstwhile "kerrejja", which was formed into this Exhibition and performance venue. Well done!

This is a well presented museum which covers the social history surrounding the development of the postal service in Malta. Sure, some of the details are only for devotees of the subject, but there is enough in the video presentation and in the exhibits to...More
