A piece of history from the Knights to NATO via the battle for Malta in WW2 this is a must do place to visit, especially if you love history. A work in progress but intriguing windows on resilience in the face of adversity.

Sliema Bay and walk along to Julian Bay along the coast.. The ferry to Valetta is only a couple of euros and there’s always the local buses which will take you round the island.
