The Grand Harbour must be on of the best harbours in the world and is set off by the architecture of the surroundings buildings in mellow aged limestone. In the evening the stone glows, beautiful scenery.

We came here by ferry every day. Lovely to see from the water as well . You get to see an amazing view of the historic buildings and the colourful fishing boats and yachts.

You could spend a month within a half hour walk of your ship and still have things to see. Valletta is a treasure house of history, culture and expansive views.

Hi yes they are largely open in the main tourist areas even on major religious holidays like Easter Sunday.
