The waterfront of Valletta and its sister "cities" of Vittoriosa, Senglea and Bormia (Conspicua) can be seen in all of their fortified splendour on these harbour cruises. There are several companies running these hour long trips out of Sliema and you will be approached for patronage but not in any way confrontational. I would suggest they are a good starting... More

The tour takes you around all the little inlets and creeks both sides of Valletta. If windy, it does get a little choppy as you go round the point at Fort St. Elmo, but once back into the harbour it settles down again. Great to see all the sights from this angle. I think there was a delay in our... More

This is a must to see all the inlets in and around Valletta and the other 3 cities do not pay more than 10E as they try to get you to pay 15 E

It was a good tour around the great harbour where you can see the cities from the water. The view is just marvellous and impressive because it becomes obvious from the perspective the numbers of fortifications that were built to protect the island

Very good tour of Grand Harbour. This was part of a coach excursion on our second day on the island. The tour gives a good view of the cities around the harbour. Very enjoyable, however it has to be said that the smaller boat is able to go further into the creeks and is more informative.

Took the tour as part of a Sunday special which included Marsaxlokk market and the 5D Malta show. Were served a basic meal on board as part of this - school dinner standard. However, the cruise itself was leisurely and provided a different viewpoint on Valletta and the Three Cities. Weather was good so I was out on the top... More

I went on the hop on hop off bus tour for the south of the island and the boat trip was included. Very good indeed and very informative on the history of the grand harbour and the other inlets.

We struggled to find much useful information about small boat tours of the Grand Harbour despite seeing them on travel programmes about Valletta. It seems that the two places to board for the motorised boat tours are Vittoriosa and Valletta at the waterfront just below Upper Barrakka Gardens - on the Valletta side, there is a path with signposts for...
