By comparison with it's Catholic counterparts it's very unassuming inside but the external building is spectacular. I think this is because of the era when it was built plus the different orientation of the religion.

The Church of England is here in Malta. While the cathedral of the Diocese in Europe is in Gibraltar, Brussels and Valletta both have Pro-Cathedrals.

A pleasant church with some good art inside, but it's fairly austere, at leas compared to the big cathedral in town.

We attended the Sunday service last week as a family. The regular worshipping community were really warm and welcoming - in a very genuine and gentle way. After the service we joined them downstairs in the newly restored undercroft for refreshments, which is really stunning.

This beautiful Anglican cathedral in Valletta is well worth the visit. The spire is visible for miles as you approach the city on public transport, and I even managed to pick it out on the horizon all the way from the city walls of Mdina....More
