The views are amazing from this place, however i didn't get why this is called 'gardens' because there is no grass on which there are any flowers - it is soil with several nice large trees, no flowers, nothing too spectacular on the 'gardening' front!...More

If you want to escape the crowds this is a good place to come. Sit on a bench, take in the gardens, relax.

We visited this as we walked round the walls of the city. It shows a different view point overlooking the port and distant towns.

Despite many visits to Valletta over several years, we had missed this gem! Gardens are nothing spectacular, but worth the steep climb from the City Gate to enjoy the views over the sea.
