Brilliant play tonight which went on for 3 and a half hours. Superb acting but very uncomfortable chairs. We both had numb bums. If you are going to see anything here take a cushion as it’s hard to concentrate on the theatre when the chairs...More

Such a beautiful little theater. Well worth taking the very informative tour. Undamaged in the war it retains all of it's original style and charm. The ceiling is amazing in that it appears to be a dome, bit in fact is flat. The chandelier is...More

We visited the theatre for a tour. This was rather brief as there was an orchestra rehearsing at the time so we had to visit during their 20 minute break. This constrained the 'tour' which was simply a visit to the auditorium and the explanation...More

No idea what is hidden behind the gates! We visited on a morning the European Chamber Orchestra were practising a piece by Fiomini. We sat for an hour. The lady was dusting the chandelier- it was incredible. Like stepping into another time.

We listen to Shostakovich and Honegger at this old place i Valetta. Nice orchestra and soloists with great musik. Our seats where on the side but the chairs uncomfortable as you coul feel the wooden frame on your behind. Low prices for us retired visitors.

1. There is no bar, but next door up the hill is one on the first floor; and across the narrow street from the current entrance are two others. 2. The seats in the boxes are cramped, and are not numbered. Therefore I recommend that...More

We visited the theater twice during the start of “Valletta cultural capital of Europe”. The performances were satisfying, but the building is not up to any reasonable standards and its facilities are basic. It needs a rethink.

Beautiful XVIII Century building, a bit provincial and out of shape. But it's a great place where you and the History share the music
