Cathedral is centrally located in the center of the city and a must see during your stay. Free entrance and U suggest to enter by the main entrance and to exit by the upper left entrance

I have to be honest, I've seen more beautiful churches. However, visiting this kind of places (mosque, churches, temple) bring a sense of peace. It just feels different. So yes, I would still recommend this place.

The baroque-inspired Notre Dame cathedral has a magnificent main altar with a gilded statue of Mother Mary and is called "Crown of the old town"

This will be one most visitors' to do lists. It is worth visiting and you can't avoid it as the old town is small. But it certainly doesn't match the many other great cathedrals of Europe

Not sure if this still needs answering, but we stayed at the Alvisse Parc Hotel. It was very nice, but removed from the center of the city. As long as you have a car, it's no problem at all. The cathedral here, of course... More
