Well. It has a lot of stairs in it. A lot! It's an experience to visit for a cheap price, but it's nothing special. But you can take good pictures and the lights are beautiful.

I did not pay to enter, but walked around at the top and down some stairs. You can look out over the ville base and there are some wonderful things to see. I particularly liked looking out through the barred tunnels.

We didn't have much time to visit Luxembourg but this place looked interesting so we went in. We did not wait for a guided tour but just stumbled our way around ourselves. It's a real warren of tunnels with occasional windows and staircases. Very intriguing...More

The Casemates are significant in Luxembourg's history, so I always take visitors for a brief visit. I personally don't spend hours there but enjoy seeing the old ruins on a short visit.

Lovely views around the whole area. A must visit place while in Luxembourg. The climb down was not attempted by us, but there is a lift back to the top

It's very interesting to walk through the tunnels and wonder what happened here... There was a short leaflet, but these tunnels with such a great past needs more. It would be great if There was something Like an audio tour or more guided tours.

We visited this place on our holiday based on its fantastic trip advisor reviews. It involves a self-guided tour of the tunnels extending under the city and within a beautiful archaic bridge. The place itself is easily accessible and conveniently comes under the cost of...More

By visiting casemates we were surprised by the size and the variety of corridors we could walk through. Sometimes it was rather dark and the nobil light was useful. It was difficult in some corridors and staircases (leading to nowhere) to pass the other visitors....More

it was good to explore the different tunnels. don't worry you can't get lost. the paths are all straight forward either leading to a dead end (so you need to turn back) or to another exit point. Good for rainy day. Just be careful of...More
