Fuseta is a simple land of simple people where you can go everywhere on foot, take a boat to the Island or go to the nearest beach. Fuseta is a land where the water is warm and the sand is white and clean, where we are always greeted with a smile, where the fish and the seafood are very fresh... More

Part of the 60km natural sand dune sea defences the beach was beautiful and very end of season. No facilities at the Fuseta end of the island so take plenty to drink. A good place to chill.

This was a favourite of ours on a recent holiday to Olhao. We could get the train from Olhao and after about a 15 minute walk, you could either stay on the nearest beach (which got more crowded) or get the water taxi to the other side of the island where there were more sunbeds and space. Some lovely beach... More

Stopped off for a picnic whilst cycling back to Olhao - nice harbour side setting - favoured by the locals - plenty of cafes / bars - very scenic

The beach is lovely fine sand , sheltered water with little waterside bars nearby. However the new beach bar , modern and shiny as it is now ,I feel has lost its character from the original wooden structure . The prices alyso reflect the modern upmarket building , unlike the others on the riverside where you will mingle with the... More

This beach is definitely worth a visit. In September it was very quiet. The water was beutifullly turqoise and the sand was just perfect. Very nive littel beach restaurant with reasonable prices.

This beach is one of the quietest places in the Algarve. You have to take a boat (cheap fares) that will get you to the sand island in about 15 minutes. You can either choose the sea side or the lagoon side. Sea usually calm, warm and transparent waters. You can walk eastwards or westwards for ten minutes if you... More

As the tittle suggests it is a beautiful beach ( as are all of the beaches in the local area ) but you can use a land side beach with out having to use the ferry which can be a bit of a bonus for people with young children and all that come with them👌
