Bit off the beaten track - which maybe a good thing! - need stout boots or at least good walking shoes and don't forget the sun cream and hat in summer and water!!. The hike in winter is better and greener yet still warm. Beautiful scenery - but quite a long hike. As mentioned by others you can ‘park’ at... More

We went there with friends and our 2 year old which I had strapped on my back because of the wet areas of the trek. I have to say that I really enjoyed it. We took a number of nice pictures and in general, I would recommend it for someone to visit. We went on a sunny December day which... More

Not suitable for the elderly or infirm, but anyone reasonably able-bodied should find this spectacular site interesting. Take some drinking water with you if you are going all the way up it. You can drive a 4wd vehicle to a point a little way along it and there is a drinking water fountain and a public loo in the rough... More

We parked at the foot of the hill approx 1 kilometre from the car par and walked up to the gorge. The trail is then another 1/2 to 1 kilometre to the end. Good workout for the legs.

I've hiked maybe 6 or 7 gorges previously and this place is not near the top of my list for adventure and technical challenges. It is, however a wonderful place to experience local flora and fauna. There are placards identifying a number of trees and vines on the walk in to the gorge. What i liked about the signage was... More

We did the gorge today and it was a five hour round trip. We parked at the bottom car park as we had a 2WD 800 cc hire car. The walk to the gorge is very straight forward and I had written down instructions for the 14 km round trip from the Internet. We made it to the end of... More

Well, I don't want to say it doesn't worth visiting; indeed, it does! Just don't expect something fantastic to prevent being disappointed. But if you do love waking in nice places, love wild rocks and nature - you have to visit this place, one of the most wonderful view-sites in Cyprus.

A natural wonder, one of its kind in Cyprus. Between the sun and sea, do spare some time to visit some of these natural wonders that Cyprus has to offer. Make sure you park right at the entrance of the 'park' if you don't want to walk an extra mile and back to your car. Take good shoes and some... More

Getting there does require driving on some unmade roads, but it's OK. Flat walk along a track to start with and then the gorge walls rise up the rock structure and formations are fascinating.

We visited the gorge at the beginning of September on a random adventure and had a great time. We parked in the first car park and walked down to the main "staging area" - a bigger car park and a WC. From here we began our wander into the gorge, which starts out along dirt paths and quickly turns into... More
