We enjoyed visiting this. I think it was because on a Sunday in February, there was hardly anyone else there and we had the bath platform to ourselves for about five minutes. We read about it before hand so knew it wasn't big & spectacular and knowing this we weren't disappointed - it was quiet, peaceful, and pretty. Not sure... More

Should have read the reviews in a more discerning way! Distinctly underwhelming. The area is worth a visit if you are on a nature trek but not otherwise.

Nice bit of legend telling. Whether or not Aphrodite was here? who knows. Nice waterfall, nice walk, bit over-rated but worth seeing.

Now let's put it into perspective... we've come to Cyprus in feb. Out of season with the mountains still covered in snow. So the waterfall that we were told we would see was really just a trickle. But with all due respect I don't think even in Summer time it would be a gushing waterfall. The bath / pond was... More

As mentioned in some of the reviews, the baths are nothing to shout about but the nature trails are worth exploring. A word of caution though - it is 2.5 miles uphill and 5.5 miles down and involves a lot of uphill and downhill walking on uneven and steep surfaces in some parts. Having said that, it is still worth... More

Visited here as part of the Akamas tour with Eco (which I highly recommend, the most beautiful part of Cyprus which must remain as unspoilt as possible). Not entirely sure what I was expecting from the baths but I wanted to visit as my parents visited here on their honeymoon in 1989. It was extremely busy, with people lying down... More

A must see if visiting this part of the island. Recommend coming later in the afternoon during the season as car park and trail get very busy. Pool itself disappointing not sure what I was expecting really! however the nature trail and views over the sea are stunning.

The Baths of Aphrodite is not the real star attraction of this area. A small pool of dirty water that according to legend served as bathtub for Aphrodite once upon a time. What will really take your breath away is the nature trail that follows. Allow at least 3 hours for lots of up and downhill walking, spontaneous goat encounters... More
