Not a top spot to Go there, but worth to stop over. Great view into the valley. Small church and monastry. Missing the monks here too. Taverne was nice located, but not really warm welcoming...

This sits in the lower end of the Troodos. Whilst the church within is very ornate there is little to see. However the views are fantastic from the courtyard. As a keen bird watcher there were some lovely photos plus they had more shots of...More

Visited as part of a trip to Troodos mountains and well worth the trip to see the church. Contains an icon of The Virgin Mary said to have been painted by Luke and the altar also contains a icon of Luke painting the aforementioned icon....More

We stopped here as part of a coach tour and were lucky that it was so quiet. The monastery is small but has a spectacular interior. The grounds are peaceful and a lovely space to sit and contemplate the wonderful views.

As part of a trip with my partner we visited this place. Its well worth the visit as you get to see some wonderful paintings and chandliers. Women need to cover their head though as a mark of respect.
