Do not miss this family run place. The old lady who owns it is there and she is a gem. Not cheap to get in, but worth it to see how life used to be

Found this almost by chance. An old house, still owned by the family who lived in it and full of artefacts from throughout the ages. A great place to spend an hour.

My friend and I walked a long way to visit the museum. Unfortunately it was closed, presumably due to renovations to the city. However, there did not seem to be renovations of the museum itself.

A look back in time to the style of living, production, farming etc. and the implements of various eras. Well worth a visit.

For our thirtieth wedding anniversary we wanted to renew our wedding vows in Cyprus. We wanted a private venue with a historical Cypriot setting. The museum was the perfect place for the ceremony. The museum is closed to the public for the duration and every one is free to look around afterwards. The manager, Fryne made us feel very welcome... More

Oddball collection of fascinating stuff, looks random at first, but read the book and the collection becomes clear. Lovely lady in charge and who wouldn't want a 2nd century BC tomb in their garden???

Attended a wedding in the courtyard - delightful setting and great service from everyone associated with the museum. Parking not easy but there is a large car park within 5 minute walk and some limited street-side parking

Fantastic litle museum not easy to find. But really worth it to get there. We spent about 1 hour inside. Really recommend to buy little book on entering only 5 Euro, you will get lots of interesting information about the exhibition. Fantastic to see how people lived on Cyprus in XIX century. You can feel the place. Really recommend.

A glimpse into the Paphos of old. We came across the museum by accident and stayed for some time. A really intersting look into local history and traditions.
