For people inspired from Architecture
Jun 2020
Once you have been strolling around the pedestrian zone have a visit to Landhaus, and start from outside, admire the beautiful courtyard, the towers, the arch, the proportions of the building.
Enter it and... I won't anticipate anything, it's worth every minute of your time!

Wonderful service and appropriate pricing. The serving was large enough to take a meal home. So glad we ate here.

That's a frickin' lot of coats of arms
May 2018 • Couples
We didn't eat at the restaurant, but we had a lot of fun trying to find all the weirdest coats of arms we could find! The bonus trip through the Parliamentary rooms was fun and unexpected, too; it was quiet and nobody else was there, and the entire time it just felt like "who let us in here, this shouldn't be allowed". Sneaky fun.

PRO-TIP: Be sure to pick up the brochure so you have some context for all the stuff you're looking at; you'll learn about the founding of Klagenfurt and why there's a big old rock in the hall, among other things.

Review of the Landhaus Building, NOT the restaurant on ground floor!
Sep 2017 • Couples
A beautiful Renaissance building hosting the Parliament of Carnithia. The €4 entry is well worth it. The Great Hall of Coat of Arms is painted with 665 coats of arms representing the Carinthian Estates. The frescos on the walls and ceiling are stunning. The plenary assembly hall next door, is by contrast, very modern and hosts the current Parliament. There is a beautiful piece of are that the legislators face. A must see!

Great food - Great service
Nov 2016 • Friends
I've been here with my family. We reserved a table beforehand, which was good, since it got very busy on a Friday night. The staff was very friendly and always looked after our comfort.
We all loved the food and also the atmosphere is really nice.
For Klagenfurt or Austria in general it is not too expensive, either.

I would recommend everyone to come here to experience some traditional Austrian food.

Also, you can visit the crestroom for 1 Euro and the parliament is beautiful to look at.

I very interesting visit
Sep 2016
We visited the building, during our holiday after taking the very smooth train form Portschach We were very impressed by all of the historic interior of the building including the magnificent Heraldic Hall and the parliament chamber.
We had quite a few questions regarding the history and use of the building and the lady on the desk was very knowlegeable and was very happy to enlighten us about the German and the English occupation of the building during and after W.W,2 Very well worth a visit

Great food and service!
Sep 2016 • Couples
The did not have a menu in English, but server was friendly and patient enough to explain the items we wondered about. He made very good recommendations from the wine to the main course! He was super friendly. Food, wine and beer was great! The only downside is, they do not accept credit cards, so bring cash! That's the only "bad thing".
