The displays of regiments, weapons, rulers, torture, and life at the fortress are well done and easy to walk through. I'd spend about an hour doing the entirety of the fortress and its grounds.

Good collection of iron soldiers, some excravations. Situated in salzburg fortress is ok to visit not that great especially if you are going to visit vienna and museums there

Would anyone visit such a museum were it not in this historic fortress? It doesnt have a lot to offer. Most information was not relevant to the Fort itself, and speaks generally about war, or medieval times. Not a lot of information cards, the few...More

This is a nice visit to do while you are in the fortress. It will probably take you about 20 minutes to go through it.
