This Convent is well worth the time to visit and reflect. It is truely historic, like the rest of this area of the city.

Best way to get there is on the way down from the fortress rather then walking up the stairs from the town.

Beautiful, beautiful convent and church. My husband and I went out on a walk during an afternoon in Salzburg and found ourselves walking up quite a few steps! Jokingly, we kept telling each other that the view from the top had better be worth it!...More

We did this on a Sound of Music bicycle tour. It would be a tough walk to it..If you like the movie, you need to see it.

Gorgeous Cathedral with amazing architecture. The floors are simply breathtaking, something to look at in every corner.

We visited during our bicycle tour (Fr. Maria's bicycle tour - we also recommend this!). It is still a working convent, so silence is appreciated. The views from here are beautiful. The abbey is very reverent.
