Description:

Our family has been organizing Tyrolean Evenings in Innsbruck since 1967...

Our family has been organizing Tyrolean Evenings in Innsbruck since 1967 already, and for many people we are the musical ambassadors representing Innsbruck and Tyrolean Music around the world. Do not miss one of the best folk performances all across Europe which only includes authentic Tyrolean music, Folk dances and “shoe-slapping” as well as typical Tyrolean songs and “yodelling”. We entertain our national and international audience on a daily basis and it would be a pleasure to welcome you to one of our shows during your visit to the city of Innsbruck. Our Tyrolean Evening Shows take place daily from April through October at the Sandwirt Restaurant in Innsbruck. In addition, we provide a wide range of events during the winter season with Christmas Concerts and Tyrolean Evenings.

We did the Tyrolean evening with a group. We opted for the meal and show. The beer was great but the meal quite bland. So get more beer! The show was unforgettable in every way. The time flew by as if seconds. We had a wonderful time and the show can be recommended. Thanks for a great night out!

Yodeling, dancing, singing and just plain fun. Although I did not have dinner the two beverages were a nice addition. I have been to many folklore shows. They are all a little hokey but this one had some very good musicians.

Went for the combo of dinner followed by the show! The dinner table was cramped and crowded! The fare was very average served fried chicken and fries as the main course! the soup and the dessert was ok. Service is prompt but no second helpings or any additional items, have to pay for the extra drinks other than the complementary... More

The Gundolf Family show moves rapidly through instrumental numbers, songs, and folk dances with minimal narration. The ensemble has plenty of musical talent, but the show is not polished. Highlights were the yodeling, the men's "slap" dancing, and a singing saw. Seating for the show was cramped and the drink service distracting and clumsy. Nonetheless, the show was entertaining and... This is a must. If booking through a tour this is a must do. Don't scrimp on anything. We had a wonderful evening and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. No cameras allowed but group happy to take photo at the end.

I went with my 10 year old son and we both loved it! We were picked up by one of the yodellers named Ingrid. She was super nice and drove us to the performance. After a traditional Austrian dinner we moved to the showroom. We absolutely loved the show, it was amazing. The performers were fantastic, and there were funny... More

The performance was good. They play up the tourists' mindset of the traditional Tyrolean character well. There are several different kinds of acts which served to be overall entertaining. We made the mistake of choosing the dinner and a show. The food was terrible and the service even worse. It put big damper on the evening. Save your money for... More

Unless you like being confined to an extremely overcrowed room, don't go. The show is really nothing to brag about. You will feel like a herd being stuffed into a room that would be in violation by USA fire code. If you are lucky to sit in the front you have a good view, but if you don't, you'll have... More

After waiting for a taxi to pick us up for this show, we were surprised to be taken by one of the performers in her own car to the show and back to hotel again. The lady was Ingrid ,dressed in national costume and looked very pretty. Her English was great as we chatted en route. The meal was ok... More
