Took the cable car on a brilliantly sunny day. The trip up the mountain was amazing and the views from the top unforgettable. There are numerous walking tracks which offer something for everyone. Definitely value for money

Just spent the day with guide Harry on the Horn-Bichalm walk, brilliant to have such a knowledgeable guide who was so in tune with the mountain and how it works. A must for anyone who enjoys hiking in these glorious mountains.

Two good restaurants at the top. Walking paths for those who can and terraces just to sit. As everywhere in Austria excellent toilets.

Take the gondola to the top in the summer. There are lots of hiking trails, beautiful food and god eats. We went to the old right at the top and really enjoyed the patio views, the cow bells ringing, the beer, and the sausage noodle...More

Its one of my favourite spots in Austria to go skiing. The ski run is very good and the views downhill are beautiful. The restaurant has great food but a bit overpriced.

Cable cars give access to the mountains for short stroll or longer hike. Great view points down across the town and the surrounding mountains. Recommend the evening accent on Friday in the summer to watch the sun set over the wilderkaiser.

Yes, there is only one area and public buses run from everywhere in and around town. Westendorf connects to Ellmau's Wilder Kaiser Ski region though. The slopes are endless! Comparable to Aspen, Vail, Whistler.
