First of all I love WW2 history, so a visit to Viennas flak tower was on my to do list anyway. The aquarium is in an old flak tower, and because of this has an interesting vertical layout. The aquarium itself has some really well...More

Me and a few friends came here on our trip to Vienna. It is a really tall building with a lot of steps but there is a lift there. There is pretty much everything you can think of in an aqua zoo. We spent about...More

We had very interesting morning, it was worth waiting on rain to get in there. I think it was 11 flours (?) of pure ZOO pleasure. Mostly there were families with kids but it is very interesting for adults (as a substitute for traveling on...More

It's a novel experience and you do get to see a lot of wildlife on the many floors. The monkey enclosure being the most popular. Best part for me was the view from the roof above the cafe. Quite expensive for what it was though.

Although little bit crowdy, we enjoy it very much (kids are 9 and 5). You can see almost all animals living in a seas and oceans. Nice ambient of the museum.

Lovely aquarium over 10 floors, with amazing views of the city from the outside viewing area. Housed in an old flak tower from WW2. There are lots of floors, most are fairly small, but they pack a lot into this place. Not just fish, also...More

Lots to see here over many floors. An interesting building with fantastic views of the city. Children loved the nibbling fish. Definitely worth a visit...we stayed for a few hours and loved it!

The Haus des Meeres is housed in the unlikely environment of an ex-world war two fire control flak tower in Vienna. It is therefore based over a number of floors each with interesting wildlife on view from fish and marine life to monkeys and exotic...More

Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping
