When we came here it wasn't very busy and the flea market wasn't on. I think that's on a Saturday. This market however is a foodie lovers dream. So many stalls with a variety of foods from around the globe! There are also stalls that sell wine and tea etc. Plenty of places to stop for a bite to eat... More

Many fresh foods and seafood booths alongside of many cool restaurants. It is fun to go between the different places and check out what they have to offer. Although it is a "market" it is not cheap.

If you visit Vienna it is a must you come by at Naschmarkt. It got really nice cleaned up over the years and the restaurants in the second row are excellent . Products are unique , fresh. Check out the Saturday farmers market. A culinary delight to get lost easy . Have some cash ready it is not cheap .

It's a combination of a market and small restaurants. You can find a lot of different kinds of foods from all over the world. It's a good place for a quick lunch but it is not that special. Very pushy staff who want to lure you inside their restaurants. I think it's better to visit this market in spring or... More

We decided to visit the market while touring through Europe as part of our stop in Vienna. After asking around we found out that the most famous-and trendy- of the Vienna markets is the Nachmarkt. This is a large food area along with restaurants and many flee market type shops. There literately is everything from soup to nuts here. We... More

I had the opportunity to walk around the Naschmarkt. Pleasant environment, nice seller, especially Vaľa goods. You need to choose your own.

This place is a must see if you visiting Vienna city centre. It is a mixture of pleasant cafes and wine bars together with traders selling all kinds of food. Seafood is a speciality with fine wines and champagne. The market itself runs on raised ground between two main roads.

Great experience on our first day in Vienna. Lovely food and lots of different cousines to try out. Centrally located close to most of the tourist attractions.

Staying in Wieden

Neighbourhood Profile
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighbourhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
