Like I told before : I’m not a statue lover, but during my walk through “Stadspark” I passed this statue. Have a small break, take a picture of “golden” Strauss and get on. For Strauss : 5/5, for the statue 1/5, result 3/5.
For a statue...you have got to give it five stars as you simply must go and get your classic Vienna picture.
This statue of Strauss near the entrance to Stadtpark is a great place for taking group photos. What a better place to show you were in Vienna, the city of music. It is fitting that Strauss is holding his violin. The statue is near the...More

The Strauss Monument is a beautiful memorial built for Mr Strauss built in the park on the main ring road of Vienna, Ringstrasse. The monument in the park has a statue of Mr. Strasse playing the violin.
This is a "golden" elegant memorial to Mr. Strauss, situated in a park on the Ringstrasse. Stop for a quiet moment and "hear" his music in your mind. It's a lovely way to step off the elegant but busy Ring Blvd.
