You feel Mozart's presence at every corner of Vienna. It's very touching being in front of his statue.

One of the most popular statues to see in Vienna is the Mozart Statue at Burggarten. This is a delightful Laas marble monument created by Austrian sculptor Viktor Tilgner in 1896. Here you see in Mozart in concert attire, peering proudly with his right hand...More

Just a statue with no information looks nice though and might as well see it if in Vienna! Go to the show it is amazing and you sit in the room where he first conducted at the age of 6

Beautiful area. Sad that due to winter, much of the gardens were unkept. But it was still beautiful. Freezing cold so we walked quickly.

Great compliment to the Burggarten, even in February with the freezing weather! Access to the grounds are open for all.

Visited on Tuesday 10th October. We stopped to have a look at this statue and found a very interesting park to have a rest from our walking tour around the city centre.

It’s middle sized statue of a great classical musician and one of most famous Austrians of all times. Attached to a nice park. Good for a photo or two.

This grand statue is in the Burggarten near the Hofburg. It cannot be missed - there is a big lawn in front of it with the Sol key. It is closer to the heart of old Vienna, compared to Johann Strausse's statue in the Stadtpark....More

I love the music and I love the movie. It was very satisfying to weave our way through Vienna streets and alleys using Apple map directions. It was a charming treasure hunt to arrive though all ways to the statue were barricaded due to affects...More

I'm a Mozart fan, but this is just a statue of him. It's OK as far as it goes, but it tells you nothing about him.
