Located in the central historic zone of Vienna, the Leopold museum (and the others next to it) are the place for Art lovers. You can expend a whole afternoon here and not feel bored. The entrance fee is affordable too.

The museum exhibits paintings from Austrian artists. The experience was good. The price is a little expensive for the numbers of paintings exposed. Nice area.

very interesting for the works of Egon Schiele (although some are missing at the moment because they are on loan in Paris). I was a little disappointed as far as Klimt is concerned. I was expecting more works by him!

The museum is small relative to Belvedere but there's one floor dedicated to Klimt. There are several other museums in the same area.

We happened upon the Leopold during a wander after checking into our hotel. It was on our to see list due to the Klimt exhibition.

Visited this museum back in September. It provides a good alternative to the crowds that flock to the Upper Belvedere to see Klimt's 'The Kiss'. There's a whole floor of Klimt's paintings that gives a good overview of his life and work, without the scrum!...More

I had a hard time choosing between the museums featuring Klimt's paintings in Vienna, but chose this one because of the special exhibition. I thought it was a really interesting and well-organized retrospective of his life and career with many lesser-known paintings. Absolutely worth a...More
