It's a nightclub with awesome retro music and nice setting. It's central and easy to find in the heart of the city, only 2 minutes walk from St. Stephans cathedral. It is an underground location and the people there are easygoing and welcoming. Cabaret Fledermaus has become an institution in town as it survived there for the last 100 years. We... More

Club/Bar in the center of Vienna. Everybody is smoking inside so it smells quite a lot - even in the non-smoking part. Good music from the 80's and 90', rock and some alternative metal rock(?). Looked like a popular place with many ppl inside. Cool visualisations on the wall. Entrance fee was 10euro.

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
