Located on one of the hills of Vienna, you can find this sensational church. Like many Catholic Churches, it is not permanently open. Before visiting you should check the opening hours on the churches website.

If you love Jugendstil or Secessionist (Central European art nouveau--think Klimt in painting) architecture, you owe it to yourself to see this amazing church. It's only open to the public on a very limited schedule and the one tour is all in German, but it...More

For a church the admission is a little pricey at 8 euros per person. St Peters is a nicer church and it's free. Its nice outside, but you could skip the inside honestly.

If the timing works out for you, you should not miss this wonderful church. I am racking my brain to think of a more beautiful church that I have seen. I have seen many of the much touted churches and cathedrals in Europe. I actually...More

I visited on a Saturday and there was a guided tour for one hour which I joined. This was not so much a guided tour though, but a man holding a speech and telling anecdotes about the churches history and about Otto Wagner and his...More

A bit of a hike to get the suburban location, but rewarding once you have made it. Outstanding example of the Secession style. with beautiful interior decoration. Guided tours only, when I was there.

There weren't any indications of this kind of service when we were there last October.
