This church seems in the first instance to be quite small but is indeed fairly large and is located just off Grabben Street in the heart of Vienna. Consecrated in 1733, the Baroque Roman Catholic style church is a wonderful example of a large dome...More

When you approach the Peterskirche you might think that it's a rather unpretentious church. But inside it's - a surprise. Isn't it a little posh?

This is one of the most beautiful churches in Vienna. It is not huge but is very ornate on the inside with wonderful statues and very detailed craftsmanship around and above the altar. It is free to enter and well worth the visit if in...More

A beautiful setting to spend an evening listening to wonderful music. Significant works underway during my visit which hampered views of all of the panels & chapels but a wonderful place to visit all the same. It's well worth reading up on the history of...More

This church is well worth a visit. It is beautiful inside and very light in comparison to St Stephen's Cathedral.

This place was so beautiful. Does not look special from the outside but I was stunned when I entered. Go see for yourself

A beautiful baroque church was the setting for a concert made all the more special because it was our daughters school orchestra and choir. It was an ethereal event with wonderful acoustics.

What a visual feast. Gilt, gilt and more gilt. Fabulous interior. We were lucky enough to enjoy a concert held here and now in the crypt.

When we were there (an early evening, around 18:00) it was just the organ, no other musical instruments, and a chorus. It was wonderful !
