Located near the inner city of Vienna and easily reachable by city buses or subway (I used the subway no. U2, stop "Taborstraße", and walked 5 minutes to get there), this two-storey museum represents many notorious criminal activities in Vienna in different time periods. It's...More

Found the museum while on Vienna Pass route. After asking directions 3 times, we finally found it. It is not included on Vienna Pass and entry charge of 6 euro for each adult. It was a meander through many levels of a building, following a...More

Six Euros entrance fee but the operator tries to trick you by giving you a brochure that costs two euros without saying that it is extra. With that out of the way, expect to see old "replicated" news articles and a few grainy photos of...More

The museum is currently in the middle of everything getting translated into English. The artefacts were pretty gruesome but good historic pieces. For €4 each it's definitely worth an hours visit.

We enjoyed the museum however much of the information had not been translated and even the hand out didn't cover it all. Would have enjoyed it more if it catered for different nationalities as we were second guessing alot of it.

Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The
second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from
medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from
pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current
hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative
crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and
