Follow the river up to Vulkan 11 and hear the raging waters before you see them. Really enjoyed this waterfall. Not big by any means, but there are kids playing at the small water park next to it even in the rain and cold.

The map direction linked from the tripadvisor app is somehow wrong on my phone. Anyway you will reach this place if you walk along the river from city center.

The waterfall is easily accessible, at the Grünerlokka area. You can walk there & relax, while it's totally worth to stop by the Hønse-Lovisas house for a coffee, waffles etc. I totally recommend it.

I used to work right next to this waterfall. It was nice to eat lunch in the sun and hear the noise. Very soothing. It's also great to see it frozen up in the winter months. Then in Spring for the big melt. Very dramatic.
