Nice area in central Oslo

Walk by the sea, enjoy the view of the city and the fjords and the modern architecture around. There are nice restaurants and places to enjoy with nice food. A bit pricey, though.

There's lots to see, not just for Pokemon Go people ;-) The views are great but it's a tourist trap.

Me and my boyfriend spent the afternoon here, taking in the views and then stopping for lunch and coffee. It's a really good spot to watch the sunset.

While it is a development seemingly created for tourists and the rich, the epically modern architecture looming over Oslo’s fjord is pretty spectacular. Here, you can walk along the water and over the bridges while you window-shop or simply take in the views. If you continue to walk all the way to the end, you will find a small “beach”... More

An expensive part of the city. This place is beautiful architecturally. Shops are probably more expensive than other shops in the city. One strange thing was that we walked through there at noon on a Saturday and it was completely empty! We thought that this was very strange. Toilets are very modern, clean and free within the shopping centre.

My favorite part of central Oslo. Some pretty interesting and modern buildings. It also has a lot of restaurants (some really expensive but some had reasonable prices, around 130 NOK for example) and shops.

Seems to be a formula for redeveloping harbours worldwide and this one follows that formula. Plenty of restaurants and shops, and some good harbour views.

We had just arrived to Norway and wanted to get fresh air and stretch our legs so we walked down near the wharf. It was beautiful to meander and explore the new construction - it is beautiful and artistic architecture. We grabbed coffee and popped in and out of seemingly expensive shops but it was fun to window shop an... More

When visiting Oslo this is a place to visit. This district is surrounded by a lot of offices and is a busy area for people in and out of their offices. For the visitors the boardwalk along the pier is highly recommended. There is enough space even when a lot of people is out at the same time. Along your... More
