First place to go when in Kristensand

This should definitely be the first place you visit when you head down to kristansand. It helps with planning how one should explore the town! Get a map of the town and speak to one of the tourist guides- very helpful and friendly people.

Made a stop here for some maps and info to make best use of our time.

Staff were very helpful, maps with walking routes denoted were very helpful..,great location, easy to access

We were taken by my husband’s cousin to see where the Nazis had built their bunkers in WWII overlooking the port. Fascinating area and together there had to go past the leper hospital location from the 1600s. Worth finding if you have the time in the region. Also check out the fish market close to where the opera house was being built when we were there in 2017.

The place is in a beatuful building. Easy to find in the central square of the town. You will receive fast information.

We walked in and got ourselves a map and very good instructions and what see in Kristiansand. We went to see a free concert in the cathedral near bye. Had a great day

Located conveniently near the cruise terminal the staff were super friendly and very helpful. Excellent English and full of helpful hints. Worth the 'drop in' for either a short time or a long time!! They have the answers!!

Super friendly and helpful

The Kristiansand Tourist Information office is located in the Town Hall opposite the Kristiansand Church. They also set up a temporary place in the port to greet the cruise ships. I arrived own the Regal Princess but skipped the port location to visit the Tourist Office in the Town Hall. they were extremely helpful and provided me with a nice city map showing places of interest.

I am travelling to Kristiansand to see family church and graves and maybe find the house they lived in during ww2. I have only pictures to by. I identified the church as the Oddernes kirke, but could not find bus information to get there. I received a reply on what bus to take and where to get it, plus some help identifying the family home. So very helpful. I'm looking forward to visiting the tourist office in person soon.

They were amazing

We were looking for information on where we could go bouldering. Although they had not heard of it they rang some other offices and came up with all the information we could want. They even printed out maps and itineraries for us. They were happy to converse in English and made us feel very welcome
