We enjoyed summer morning doing this short but rather difficult hike. Elevation around 300m. Many Norwegians are running the whole way to the top. good exercise!

Fantastic views, along with a nice playground for the kids. There was a cafe and restaurant that we did not try. They have lots of trails and many people ride up and walk down.

We had a blast walking this with our daughters (9yrs & 11yrs). The views from the top are fantastic and there are tons of fun walks up on top as well!

We were accidental visitors to Stoltzekleiven. Our aim was to get to the top of Mount Floyen. After parking the car at a point, Google Maps actually led us to a path that actually took us away from the viewing point at Mount Floyen. We...More

I go up this trail weekly. Its a must when in Bergen. I do not recommend walking down. Use the back roads in stead, they are better and will take you trough beautiful landscape. If you have little time, take left when you get to...More

Great steps made by sherpas from Nepal. Very steep climb, and a rewarding view on the top. A perfect little hike and from the top you can walk back to mountain fløyen.

Weather you walk or ride the views are fantastic. It was a sunny day so we could see all the city and the surrounding snow capped mountains. Worth the effort!

Based on our experience, there's not actually a place by this name. About 2 blocks away from where this appeared on a map of Bergen, we found a magnificent park at one of the peaks of the city. We loved the beauty and peacefulness of...More

Stoltzekleiven That would be fine if your children are used to walk. If you do the hike with your children, choose a sunny day. With the new "Sherpa-stairs" almost everybody can do it. At the top of Sandviksfjellet you... More
