This medieval wooden church is a rare gem. There's another one very close to this one. Must see!!!! Historic stave church. Few remain.

The carpentry work of this church is amazing. Definitely worth a side trip to go see while you are in Norway. We didn't know that much about the history of these churches and the fact that so few are remaining- all but two in Norway.
