Quirky but worth a visit

We saw the road signs for this winery whilst driving through Kathikas. It was a cloudy day and a bit chilly. There is an unusual museum of wine making and a shop of unusual gifts... read more

We were driving around and there was plenty signs about museum and winery nearby and we decided to visit. Place is very nice especially when sunny they have tables and chairs outside. Museum is a bit of joke- paper dolls and some pictures and exhibits, there was no one who could explain or tell anything, no information what you looking... More

The host doesn't know anything about degustations. How can you offer people drinking sweet wine before dry?!?! Stupidity. Also the tapas was not appropriate. Why eating oily bread with very salty olivas?!? How it can make the taste better? Also the host didn't tell anything in the museum, just send us there alone. WTF? Not worth to visit.

We saw the road signs for this winery whilst driving through Kathikas. It was a cloudy day and a bit chilly. There is an unusual museum of wine making and a shop of unusual gifts. We had the opportunity to try several wines, with bread, olive oil and olives. and of course, buy some. We bought a couple of bottles... More

An enjoyable couple of hours. Family run business. Good wine tasting sat outside in the courtyard and tried a full range of their wines. Pleasant staff and even met the owner who came and spent time with us. Museum is tiny and could do with a bit more info but it's free so we didn't expect much anyway. Have been... More

It's a little out of the way but it's well signposted, located far from anywhere you will need a car Family owned and run this little winery has a little museum and a 3000year old limestone cellar, don't get excited the museum is just a few artefacts it would be nice to read a bit about the family history and... Visited here after seeing all the flyers and notices. You need a car to get to it but was worth the visit. Free wine tasting with bread oil cheese etc. Friendly staff although we would have liked more information. We bought red wine and port but all the wines were very good.

Our son suggested going here. We were not disappointed. Savvas the owner let us wander around and then sat us down to taste the 7 varieties he produces. He provides bread, olives, etc. to clear the palette between the wines. At the end coffee was provided. We loved, and bought the red and the port

Lively performance of rural life and historically traditional wine making by owner in a little beautiful wine museum, followed by own-produced wine tasting, shoushoukos making
