What an amazing piece of engineering. If in Llandudno, you need to go on the tram. It wasn't expensive, the staff were very knowledgeable. We went up on the tram and down on the cable car. It would be a good idea in my opinion if the tram/cable car did a joint ticket as lots of people were doing the... More

I enjoyed the slow ride upto the top of the orme, I watched the whole of llandudno come into focus slowly and it was beautiful. I love how at the half way point your given a full layout of information to read regarding the history of the tram.

Great Orme is well worth the visit and the Great Orme tramway permits dogs to travel on board. On the summit there are numerous areas to walk a dog and a shop and cafe complex that allows dogs inside. My wife and I had a great fish and chips meal while we were there prior to the tram ride back... More

Unfortunately I had no idea, that tram is not runing out of season but next time i'm definitely taking a ride! The tram looks really nice and views on the very top of Great Orme are worth of it.

This ride consists of two lots of counter weighted cable tram systems. You go half way in one tram and the swap trams to go the rest of the way to the top. The views are magnificent. The tram also goes past the Great Orme Mines which are a "blast from the past".

Old fashioned tram was great for something to do and if you like scenery days, the views of Llandudno was beautiful. Have a fab time. Would do this again and you don't have to wait very long to get on.
