We got the impression that this was a one man show type exhibition and perhaps all the better for it. I could have spent an hour more there than i did, but She - who must be obeyed had reached the time-to-go point and I know my place. :>} Well thought out and not jingoistic, it could be an ideal... Hi Chesterman51, many thanks for your comments and feedback regarding the museum. You are quite correct, it is a personal collection of 'Home Front' related memorabilia and ephemera that I have collected since I was a child and opened to the public in 2000. I am glad you enjoyed your visit and hope you will come back soon. Best wishes,... More

Have visited this little gem of a museum twice. It is full of interesting items newspaper cuttings and artefacts from the war and the way we lived in the forties. I am in my seventies and it was fascinating to view all the old products from my early years. Fantastic, a credit to its curator.

Don't be fooled by the size of this museum, the content and sound effects are wonderful, great place to take an elderly person and very informative

A truly wonderful collection of all things from the war years set out as small shops, war offices, an Anderson bomb shelter and much more. You do get the feel that this probably started out as a personal collection and grew into something much bigger, if that is the case then I am so glad there are people out there... More

Was very unsure at first if it will be worth the money. Then was given a torch on the front desk which increased my worries? However; on entry the torch suddenly made sense as a light pointer when spotting and identifying items within the display cabinets, which were brilliant. Really really enjoyed every minute of our wonder around the items... More

Step back in time to the war years of 1939 to 1945 and visit this fantastic collection of exhibits from the era. Informative & interesting and covers subjects such as Evacuees, Land Army, ARP and Rationing plus there's an interesting article about the occupation of the Channel Isles. Reviewers photographs on here, give you a good insight as to what... More

Every time we visit Llandudno, my partner makes a trip here! She loves it and so does our 9 year old son. He loves the fact that he's 'tooled up' with his torch and he heads off to the replica Anderson Shelter investigating! I however love the facts that are provided with all the memorabilia and my partner loves all... More
