A nice place to stroll and just switch off. The front is immaculate and the park/play area is kept tidy. The beach is also a nice beach and is quieter than north shore.

We had a lovely walk from our guest house to west shore, we were taken back by how nice it was. We walked all the way along to the bottom of the great orme -it was really clean as well

I love the West Shore - I've been visiting Llandudno since I was a boy, and I love the West Shore. I love the wildness and the tranquility at the same time. I've spent many many hours walking along the beach alone or with my...More

We went to West Beach early Saturday morning and it was deserted and different from Llandudno North beach entirely. views to the Orme and beyond were spectacular.

The West Shore is so different from the rest of Llandudno: it has an atmosphere all of its own and well worth calling in, perhaps en route to Conwy. I love its bleakness and wildness: views are fantastic. There are several statues and references to...More

Even in the cold, wind, and scattered rain, I enjoyed a long walk along the beach. Lots of people walking and playing with their dogs. Good place to clear your head and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Not a good place to bring a family dog. Record numbers of fines are being handed out for having a dog off a lead, west shore included. There's also a problem with signs so you don't know untill you're looking at a £75 fine, really...More

We love to eat our lunches looking across to Snowdonia. Later in the day we return to see the magnificent sunsets.

Much quieter than the main North Shore, there is a local pub/restaurant, play area and a decent cafe. The main beach is restricted to no dogs in Summer but is dog frienly either side of the beach and out of season. Great coffee van up...More

Nice place for a walk. Some sand at low tide but mainly pebbly. Can be a bit uncertain underfoot. Great views and plenty of sea air. Great sight at night of the lights on the windfarm.

They are at the moment in certain areas. However, this looks as though it may change as there are meetings being held to discuss if they should be banned all year round.
