First time for our dog on the beach, she loved it. It is a quieter side of the beach and not to far to walk to.

A sandy beach so better than the main beach on the front but despite visiting many times, it's a beach I have never managed to fall in love with. Tends not to get too busy though and if you want a sandy beach around Llandudno then it's worth a look.

Sandy beach with nice views of the surrounding countryside. Has a more low key feel about it than the North Shore Beach. The seasonal dog ban was not enforced when I visited in September 2016, I saw dogs and plenty of paw prints on the beach.

We as a family of 5 plus 2 older relatives visited West Shore where the sea is beautiful and the paths are flat which us why it us called the invalid mile as it allows scooter wheelchair users etc to be able to access the beautiful scenery without struggling to get about. There is a lovely cafe that serves lovely... More

Lovely walk along the coast. The miniature railway is well worth a visit and is supporting a local charity.

Hadn't visited properly before except driven past on way home from Llandudno. Had a lovely walk along the beach, breathing in the salty air. Stunning views across to the hills of Snowdonia and Great Orme to your right. Will return when next in the area.

Most people flock to the beach by the promenade but if you want a quieter beach, then choose the West Shore. It's much easier to park, there is good access to toilets close to the park and model boating lake. There is a long stretch of sandy beach and at the far end you will find a Car Park, Cafe,... More

This is the much quieter side of Llandudno. My friend has a flat just off West Shore so this is a frequent destination. It's just great strolling up and down and the beach is very attractive and rarely too busy. Lovely.
