An ancient church on the Great Orme, overlooking the sea and surrounded by a historic churchyard. The church is sometimes confused with the 20th chapel in the adjoining Great Orme Cemetery. The church is open every day from 1 April to 31 October and weekends, Wednesdays and bank holidays the rest of the year, weather permitting. Open air services are held on Sundays at 11.00 am from the end of May till the end of September (in the church in bad weather) and monthly services are held in the church over winter. Information leaflets and booklets are available in the church.

Delightful old church

We had to stop and visit this lovely old place of worship. Extensive graveyard with some interesting features. Llandudno is named after St Tudno.

Didn't know the church was there until we rounded the bend on the Great Orme. Fabulous architecture - don't miss the font and the 15th century dragon carving - and a very peaceful place. Churchyard looked interesting also but was so cold and windswept that we couldn't do it justice.

Small, pretty church on the site of a much older one at a wind swept spot high up on the Great Orme. Peaceful if it's not busy and especially if the weather is bad outside. If you're looking for a picturesque position for a spiritual moment then it's worth a visit. However there is not much particularly unique or surprising... More

Very picturesque little church set in a lovely situation overlooking the sea on the Great Orme by The War Cemetery. There are some interesting grave stones and also on certain Sundays there are open air services. For those interested in church history it is well worth a visit.

Came here with a view to photographing the other church and were delighted to see this one open. An interesting little church with a trail that leads you gently around some of the more interesting parts. Seems to enjoy a near constant stream of visitors in pleasingly small numbers so you never feel crowded or rushed.

Tiny church in the middle of the cemetery half way up The Great Orme. Charming. Lovely stained glass windows.

There are very old gravestones to the back and side of the church and to the right of the steps more recent graves. When you enter the church you are struck by the atmosphere which is so peaceful and calming. It is so nice to just sit and take it all in and say a prayer, the history of the... More

This has to be one of the most peaceful places we've ever visited. I've always liked churchyards since I was young. There's something very peaceful and calming about walking through a quiet churchyard looking at the graves of those that have passed. St.Tudno's is absolutely beautiful. The views are breath-taking, and walking through the graves with respect, you can be... More
