We live in Cheshire and are regular visitors to Llandudno. We always make sure that we walk around the Orme. We've tried both directions and definitely prefer starting at the West Shore. There's loads of parking and also some toilets. It 's quite a pull to start. The first part is all uphill. There are some amazing houses to look... More

5 hour walk on the Orme Starting from Happy Valley and walking anti Clockwise Taking in the Summit then back down to the coastal paths . Great views and plenty of Flora & Fauna to observe on route. Lovely sunny day but bitterly cold wind, dress accordingly and take a flask, the cafe was open on the summit. Well worth... More

Walk or drive for magnificent views and great scenery. Lots of geographic and historic interest and an easy drive up with lots of parking.

We walked up to the top but there is a railway to take the old infirm or lazy. Walked the whole way round the Orme fantastic views, we were lucky as it was a very clear day. Would benefit by having some way markers to clearly indicate the route round the Orme.

We took the cable car which was an experience in itself. The opening times are a bit hit and miss and usually you have to wait for the test ride to take place before you can board. We went up and down for a reasonable price. Your are at the mercy of the elements and shortly after our descent, it... More
