If you're going to the cinema to watch a Movie For Juniors, you get free parking, so this is good for families. However the parking spaces are really limited and you may not get a place if you go later in the evenings. Close to the restaurants and the cinema, so good if you need to be close for whatever... Cardinal Park has become a real hub of Ipswich, there is the cinema abs various restaurants there. You do have to pay for parking ( as you do virtually everywhere in Ipswich) and at least it is central.

I was visiting Flux at Cardinal Park yesterday with four young grandchildren. Parked the car and as you can imagine with a bag full of drinks etc I couldn't find my purse. Yes I had left it at home. Omg couldn't think what to do. Obviously had no money for the car park so went to the parking office to... More

Cardinal Park has a good variety of restaurants to choose from such as Nando's, Ask, Chimichanga and the Harvester. Good onsite parking Just 5 minutes from the town centre.

Went to the cinema last night the cinema is ok but as for the parking well it's not cheap to park there before 6pm altho you do get a voucher on the back off your parking ticket which you can redeem your parking fee back at the cinema which is OK but I don't think many other places there redeem... We often visit the cinema in Cardinal Park and my hubby loves a flat white from Starbucks but we are often left either with only a choice of takeaway or find ourselves surrounded by chairs on top of tables whilst we drink our tea and coffee because they are 'closing' I dont blame the staff as they are always very... Cardinal Park is terrible & is full of rubbish from the surrounding fast food outlets. Parking is always a nightmare & I'm sure all drivers become a idiot when they pass through the entrance! People can be so rude!

In the heart of Ipswich Cardinal park has a fab range of places to eat including harvester and Frankie & bennys. Also has a cinema, club and kids indoor play area too!

This place is not a thing of beauty, there is a clone of it in every medium sized town. It came at a period when planners, not content with stripping day time trade out of town centres, decided to take over the evening as well. There is a Cine World my tip there, is only go to the morning showings.... More

Daytime visits are clean and simple/easy. Night time hard to find spaces and seems alot of rubbish about. Not pedestrian friendly once you are out of your car to get to a path is a mission in itself and as for the speed ramps you will need a 4x4!
