a central pub in a great location with a medieval feel. I havent tried the food but the beer is good and there is a decent selection. the staff are great and in the summer its nice to drink out the front surrounded by some great buildings.

When you walk into Mannings, you are entering an authentic old fashion true English Pub; wooden floors, cosy settings and good food. It has an atmosphere with a warm welcome and a lovely stillness from the modern world outside for a few hours. Have a break, go to Mannings!

I have been meeting friends and family for eats and drinks at Mannings for about 25yrs. There have been a number of 'incarnations' of Mannings over the years due to the economy and various business and entertainment trends. Including the SAVE MANNINGS CAMPAIGN some years ago. The locals where appalled that some idiot from the council would allow there precious... More
