Enjoy a fantastic FREE day out on a real working farm. We have free parking and our paths are free to walk 7 days a week. You can see our animals all year round, and explore our woodlands (you may even find a play area hidden inside them). We have a cafe, shop and pub on site so you can even taste the produce that comes from our land.

We turned up during the Feb half-term holidays with our two boys (4 yrs & 18 months) as it was close to the cottage we were staying at and we were looking for something to do... and had the most delightful morning. It's not a big, showy place like some other visitor attraction farms... but it's charming and wholesome and... More

Went half-term with our two grandsons age 3 and 5. They particularly enjoyed the soft play area indoors and the outdoor woodland play area. It was too muddy to go over the fields this time but we have enjoyed that on previous visits. Nice café does good tea and coffee and food.

Went here around a year ago and enjoyed walking round seeing the many animals and thought it would be good to take my 5 year old nephew. However, there were hardly any animals to see and anything else of much interest to see around the farm, although the walk was quite nice. Felt we had really overpaid for this and... More

Last year we went apple picking and had a real good time. We walked around on the farm, picked some apples (which we bought off course). The farmer was very friendly and told us a lot about the apples. So yesterday we decided to pay another visit. Literally pay! We said we came for the veggie harvest. It was at... More

We visited for Bonfire night on the 29th the weather was just turning very cold, as we walked through the farm we could see a bonfire burning in the distance, when we got there it was incredibly beautiful and gave off well needed heat, we stayed for a while soaking in the atmosphere and then visited the Jolly Wagner across... A good selection of animals and it wasn't expensive to go in, so the visit with our young son was fine, however it's a shame the place is so scruffy and some areas not clean (e.g. childrens play area), I realise it's a farm but it could be better managed with the right attitude. Agree with comments that food for... More

Great for a back to basics camp, no electric but a night round the fire pit and star gazing. Fresh meat from the farm is an absolute bonus.

I found it very expensive the children loved feeding the animals but when you have a few children the food works out a lot. They found the little adventure playground they played but to be honest the amount of money they make and the staff they empty they could put better equipment for the children to play on rather than... At short notice, I needed somewhere to take two small children to keep them occupied for several hours. I googled and hit upon Church Farm. It was a good discovery as the weather that day was fine and there were few people around. We had a Little Farmers lunch in the cafeteria. This was not the cheapest kids' meal but... More

This for me is my favourite place to go camping in Hertfordshire, it's a working farm so great for taking the kids to feed the animals, there is an onsite farm shop and cafe and a pub over the road which only use farm produce on there menu, if you have never been here you need to pay it a... More
