The Chapel is lovely, it has great stain glass windows. It is very well maintained and a fantastic piece of history. It is only open on selected dates so you will need to check with them, but they do do children's activities in the holidays...More

This chapel on the bridge in central Wakefield is only open on certain days, contact the council for opening dates, we visited and was pleasantly surprised, it did make you think of how life was back when this was the only bridge and no cars

I visited here after visiting the Hepworth over the road, sadly the Chantry was not open that day but the exterior and its impresive position on the river is interesting.

I visited during the open day in September and this little chapel is really lovely. I would recommend anyone visiting Wakefield to visit!

I have seen on pictures this building, and imagened bigger than in real. It was good to see it. Unfortunately I missed out the lake near the little church. Maybe next time.
