We had a great day.The house was outstanding. The gardens, in particular, were very good. We really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended!

Great place to enjoy a nice quiet walk and also, enjoy coffee / lunch at The Orangery - must take time out to visit the stately home as well

I would advise, its best to go in the summer, beautiful grounds but a lot of walking so dress warm and stay dry

Stopped off here for a look around and wasn't disappeared. The house was interesting and grounds beautiful.

Stunning house to in a beautiful location. Staff are helpful and friendly. Will be back again. Plan on spending the entire day as there is so much to see and absorb. The grounds are lovely.

Christmas Eve means less tourists. Despite being closed it was nice to walk in the park amidst all the sheep and see the deer nearby. The actual house is worth a tour in the summer. I like Stamford and Burghley House is a 40 minute...More
