Good Visit
Oct 2021 • Family
We visited here to take advantage of the unlimited wrist band which is now offered.

Before starting the activities we had breakfast at the café towards the back of the pier. It was great value and very nice.

We purchased the unlimited wrist bands at £27 each. We managed to do all the activities without having to wait however as the day went on it became very busy and a wait would have been likely.

Before arriving we messaged the pier asking how the band's worked i.e can you book time slots for each activity to make sure you get your money's worth? They never replied.

On the day we were told that we just turned up when we wanted to do each activity. On this basis there is no way we'd of got back on the clip n climb or bowling as they were packed.

All in all we got our moneys worth but the idea is a bit flawed. It's all well and good offering an unlimited wrist band but when you can't get on things it's a bit pointless.

Nevertheless we still enjoyed our day and would do it again. We'd just make sure to get there early to get on everything before it gets busy and probably just book the cheaper wrist band option and do everything once.

Lovely pier...but lose the awful music!
Sep 2021
Terrible loud music being played constantly on our visits, both during the day and in the evening - what on earth for?

Lovely classic seaside pier though, I`d just prefer it just to hear the sea!

Planned improvements are outlined on an information board - not sure about those.

Will re-visit when next on the coast though.

I like this place and it is worth going to. The pier is pretty big and it has lots of benches to rest on. It is a unique location.

Sep 2021 • Family
My 2 year old son really wanted to go on what looked like a good soft play , but he kept putting his hands over his ears to try block out the awful irritating music pumped up to full blast around that area , music was awful 90s drama n bass or something ? , staff must be deaf by now , overall a nice clean pier tho.

Also some of the kiddy rides are faulty , I put a nugget in one ride it rotated about 5 inches and stopped ...

Noisy and underwhelming
Sep 2021
This will be great if they extend it to its original length as the signs are hoping to, but at present it is nothing special.

A nice.place for a 5 minute rest looking out to see. Plenty of things for the kids and a full size bowling alley down stairs.

Coffee and Doughnuts shack
Sep 2021 • Family
If you like being treated with respect avoid Coffee and Doughnuts on the pier.

It is ran by a rude and passive aggressive woman who charges £1.50 for 2 Doughnuts and £4 for 5. When you ask if you can have 4 Doughnuts because it works out cheaper she gets snotty with you, refuses to change your order, blames CCTV and says "that's the price I have to charge I'm being watched" then says "do you want me to bin these 5 doughnuts? Or are you keeping them" lies lies lies.

Overpriced and rude outlet. Go somewhere else.
